Project Engineer

Successful candidates will desire to work with a dynamic project team in fast moving project environments. They will gain broad experience in all aspects of sewage and wastewater project implementation. Applicants will be encouraged to continue their professional development through attendance at seminars and training courses and will be encouraged to prepare for and apply for Engineering Chartership.

The Project Engineer’s scope of work will include but not be limited to: -

  • Working with tendering team for preparation of tender submission documents
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Support design activities including development of specifications and drawings
  • Equipment selection and procurement
  • Co-ordination with and /or site supervision to ensure smooth implementation of project works
  • Preparation of project documentation, records, and reports; safety, equipment submissions, progress monitoring, scheduling, data, approvals, and closeout documents, etc.
  • Assistance with plant commissioning and operation, including data collection and processing, ensuring safety compliance, etc.

On-the-job training / mentoring will be provided for all new applicants.

Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree: Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical.
  • 3 - 5 years working experience in Engineering Field (preferred)
  • Ability to provide support to projects and supervise junior staff
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and other Project Management Tool
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and be able to work independently.

Assistant Environmental Scientist

Successful candidates will desire to work with a dynamic project team in fast moving project environments. Their work scope shall include but not be limited to: -

  • Operation & monitoring of bench and pilot scale water/wastewater treatment systems.
  • Water/wastewater analyses at on-site laboratory.
  • On-site work & shift work (night shift may sometimes be requested).
  • Equipment set-up and maintenance supports.
  • Assist in preparation of deliverables to customer and maintain project records.

Experience in all of these listed areas is not a pre-requisite. On-the-job training and supervision will be provided for appropriate skill acquisition.

Requirements:
  • Diploma course (or higher) in relevant technical field.
  • Good command of spoken & written English, fluent in Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
  • Capability for MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. AutoCAD skills will be an advantage.
  • Willing to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Attention to detail, willing to learn and ask questions.
